IS THE SUPREME COURT RULING A PYRRHIC VICTORY?

Once the euphoria or the novelty of the latest courtroom intrigue subsides, it will become evident that the fresh elections will be held under highly un-conducive conditions. Commendably, the Supreme Court ruling put several issues to rest, notably the interpretation of ‘majority’ being 50+1. It also paved way for a new electoral page to be turned and, as we march inexorably towards the 02 July polls, at least six observations warrant being made.
